Strand Rope

Heanjia Super Metals Co., Ltd. has the capability in producing stranded wires meeting customers’ specific requirements with various alloys, such as: pure nickel, nichrome, Monel, copper nickel alloys, Inconel alloys, etc.

The most commonly used stranded wires are made with nichrome wires and monel 400. The grades includes: NiCr 80/20, NiCr70/30, NiCr60/15, NiCr35/20, etc. The commonly used sizes are strands of 7, 19, 37 and 49.

Stranded resistance heating wire has many advantages, such as deformation ability, thermal stability, mechanical character, shockproof ability in thermal state and anti-oxidization.

For heating, resistance Wire mesh must be stable in air when hot. Nichrome Wire forms a protective layer of chromium oxide when it is heated for the first time. Material beneath the layer will not oxidize, preventing the Wire from breaking or burning out.

Due to Nichrome Wire’s relatively high resistivity and resistance to oxidation at high temperatures, it is widely used in heating elements, electric furnace heating and heat-treating processes.

Typical stranded resistance alloys and constructions are:
